Lots Of April Ice!

Well I've been chasing Walleye on the rivers out of the boat since March 6th in different parts of the State. Doing well with that and will provide details in next post. Looking at a late ice out this year! These photos taken April 19th on Lake Minocqua. 24 to 30" of ice in places. Ice fishing good, but proceed with caution. Shoreline areas opening up along with arms around bridges and docks with aerators. Most likely will have a lot of ice on larger lakes and flowages for opening day in the Minocqua area. I will post details as we approach.

Hooking up boat and heading down to the Merrill area on the Wisconsin River for a bit now! Good luck to you and hopefully a good report tomorrow!
